Theme and Conflict
Theme
The moral in the book "Gregor the Overlander" is that you should never stop trying your goals even if they seem impossible. Also it is to keep your friends and family closer but your enemies closer. We always need to complete what we start and never give up with something we want. Things like this happen daily but we should never forget that we need to try all our best even if things seem impossible. Things like this happen doing homework, eating, and doing other activities but we need to keep trying.
Conflict
Gregor falls to the underland and he wants to go back to the overland because he wanted to be with his family but he is selected for a prophecy and he needs to save the underland to see his family again. There is also an internal conflict in the book; Gregor is scared and impressed when his dad disappears and he becomes the man of the family. Gregor after having a war with the rats, defeated the rats after he jumped of a cliff to save his life and when he was falling, Mareth flew under him on her bat and saved him. Gregor found his father on the rat´s base and he saved him. After he compleated the prophecy, Gregor, boots and his dad went back to their apartment with their family and they lived happy forever.
