TIED paragraph 2
After Gregor fell trough a hole in his laundry room, he reached an unknown land. That land was called the overland. There he found some people and he reached a city called Regalia. There he met strange people and animals he had never seen. He saw bats, rats and other animals that could talk. Gregor was very sacred and amused when he saw all of this. In page 18 paragraph 3 it says, "Smells what so good, smells what?" "a voice hissed, and it took Gregor a full minute to realize it had come from the cockroach. He was too stunned to make any sense of strange words. " Also, in page 45 paragraph 3 the text shows, "They stood on the edge of the valley filled with the most beautifully buildings he had ever seen. New York was known for his arquitecture, the elegant brownstones, the towering skyscrapers, the grand museums. But compared with Regalia, it looked unplanned, like a place where someone had lined up a bunch of oddly shaped boxes in rows. This shows Gregor was scared, terrified and amazed because he had never seen before huge animals that could talk and he had never seen cities that were so amazing and with awesome arquitecture.

TIED paragraph 1
The book Gregor the Overlander is about the story of a normal kid who one lives with his mother, his two little sisters and her grandma. His parent disappeared one day and he became the man of the family; He had to show he was serious, responsible, and capable of being the men of his family. The information in Gregor the Overlander shows Gregor is responsible and capable of doing jobs at his house like laundry and taking care of her sisters and grandmother. In page 4 paragraph 1, it says, "So, here he was. Not fine. Not fine spending the whole summer cooped up with a two-year-old and his grandma who thought he was someone named- "Simon!" he heard his grandma call from the bedroom. Gregor shook his head but he couldn't help smiling a little." This demonstrates that Gregor is responsible and it shows he knows the importance of the disappearance because he is very young for doing such important tasks. He is 11 years old and he is the man of the house. He needs to sacrifice his childhood and stop doing fun stuff like a normal kid to take care of his house and his family.
